Health and social care

One of HOPE worldwide’s global priority areas is health and social care. Almost half of all human and financial resources are used to deliver health solutions around the world that benefit 1.4 million people annually.

Some examples include:

  • Running hospitals and clinics in Cambodia that are transforming the country’s whole health care system by training future healthcare professionals there;

  • Lead partner with the International Diabetes Federation helping 8,000 children with diabetes through the Life for a Child progamme in almost 40 countries;

  • Achieving an 89% reduction in Malaria incidents on Nias Island, Indonesia;

  • Helping over 1 million people affected by HIV/AIDS in 15 countries with initiatives ranging from specialist clinics, to supporting orphans and family members;

  • Providing maternal and child health solutions.

HOPE worldwide improves the health of critically underserved communities through education and the delivery of high quality, compassionate healthcare.
