HOPE worldwide UK Impact Report

For over 30 years, HOPE worldwide UK has had a singular goal: to put compassion into action.

Thanks to our generous supporters, thousands of people have received the opportunity to overcome poverty and homelessness through our services and programmes. Behind every number is a powerful story — from education for underprivileged children in Kathmandu to women’s economic empowerment programmes in Zambia, our programmes are creating pathways to greater opportunities for every person we serve.

From 2023-2024, our Two Step programme provided over 450 assessment and advice sessions for those experiencing homelessness in London, helping more than 200 people find suitable accommodation. Through our network of volunteers, 51 Ukrainian refugees were hosted in the UK, and an additional 71 people were provided with emotional and well-being support.

Globally, we supported 6,985 people, providing humanitarian aid, midday meals, education, vocational training, women’s economic empowerment skills, and more in Zambia, Zimbabwe, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Lebanon, Nepal, and Romania.

Here are a few fast facts highlighting what your support has achieved:

  • 1,367 people received vocational training
  • 326 children participated in early development programmes in Zambia & Zimbabwe
  • 325 leprosy patients received wound care in India
  • 550 children in Bangladesh accessed education
  • 118,000 midday meals were served
